Missed RMD from Retirement Plan


I have a client who’s financial adviser accidentally did not take out their Required Minimum Distribution (RMD) from their retirement account. They have not received any communication related to it yet, but know that they will owe a hefty penalty and would like to get ahead of the issue. I’d like to help them but don’t know how to start since there is no Notice or anything for me to use to look up the appropriate action in Canopy. Can you point me in the right direction on this?
