How do I get my clients information to auto populate the IRS response letter? I am having to retype every letter out of the Canopy system which is very time consuming and frustrating.
Hey Kelly! You'll want to copy and paste the IRS response letters from the Notices section into the Letters feature of an Engagement that you have created! Once you have that, you can add the attributes for that client to populate their name, email, and other contact info if needed!
I see that it auto feeds to Word now when I download the letter. But with the system holding all the client information, why doesn't auto populate the date, contact name, address, etc? It doesn't take a lot of time, but just seems like a step the Canopy system would incorporate as part of the download process.
