Receive Credit Card Payments Without Invoice
It would be super helpful for us to be able to receive a credit card payment before we have created an invoice. Our firm collects retainers before we begin work on our projects, and right now whenever we receive a check or cash we record that as a "credit" in the Canopy billing section, but if the client wants to pay us with a credit/debit card we have to make an invoice to send to them. This complicates things at the end of the process because we end up having two invoices for one project. One for the retainer and one for the final amount due. Or it would be nice to be able to edit an invoice once it has been paid in full to add the new amount as well.
