Shares files between spouses

Never knowing which spouse has the file I want makes it difficult to work. Please allow us to move to or copy or share a file to a spouse or important contact that is already indicated as a spouse or important contact.

Would also be nice if you could connect children and businesses.

A temporary workaround is to merge all the family members as one portal.

My issue there would then be that every communication that is tagged to the "taxpayer name" would be messed up, and look unprofessional. Also will mess up the ability to use the organizer. And it would prevent electronic signatures.

Taxdome separates the idea of a "client" from a "contact" so that two contacts have access to a "client" and then the two get the same access. Client has the portal - contact=user who can access various portals with permission, such as Couple, Kid, and Company, and can switch back and forth.

Another temporary workaround is to manually copy and upload the file to each of the portals. Just keep in mind that any changes made to that one shared file has to manually again copy and upload the file to each of the portals and then archive the old files to prevent any confusions or name the old file as -v1, -v2, -v3, etc...
